Like a lot of women I’ve spent a good proportion of my adult life “on a diet” and ironically also being overweight! I’ve tried every diet going and I’ve lost count of the times I’ve joined weekly slimming clubs vowing that this would be the last time only to fall of the wagon and rejoin a good few pounds heavier!
I’ve been training with Pam now for 18months and to say that it has changed my life would be an understatement.
Before I met Pam I was bigger and more unhappy than I’d ever been.  I would literally cringe if I saw camera and very often made excuses not to attend nights out or parties.
I lacked confidence I most areas of my life, I was unfit and unhealthy and dreaded the thought of group exercise  fearing that I would be humiliated by thin people bounding about all over the place.
In fact the first time I met Pam it is safe to say she scared the life out of me (and she still does!)
She demonstrated the exercises and I’d never seen anyone jump higher or squat lower.  But she never made me feel less than fully supported even though I must have looked quite a sight !
I combine group exercise with 1:1 sessions and every session is different and challenging but In a good way.
The support from the group is amazing too as we are all accountable to each other, if someone is having a wobble then others will talk them down and offer advise.  This is usually followed by an article by Pam which proves she really listens to and cares about our problems and thinks about how to solve them.
The nutritional advice has changed the way I think about food and has helped me to lose over 4 stone
The group share recipes and motivate each other, if you miss a session you will always be guaranteed a few texts!
I’d advise anyone who was even thinking about joining to go for it.  What have you got to lose except a load of weight ?
